The Popcorner Trolley

In 2019 we had an idea about buying a food truck for our
outside events. At that time, we were using a tent and it became a challenge with the Summers and volatile weather days in Kansas. Our first thought was to buy an old U Haul truck and wrap it with The Popcorner graphics. But that did not portray our old fashioned theme.

One day, Kirsten’s sister-in-law saw a post about a trolley in Nebraska selling ice cream. Roger decided to scour the internet for a used trolley. He discovered a Molly Trolley in West Palm Beach, Florida, originally used for hauling tourists around the city. Without seeing it in person, we bought the trolley and arranged for it to be shipped to Wichita. Upon arrival, it needed a lot of work and modifications. After spending the entire year in different shops including a brand new coat of paint and some interior refurbishments, The Popcorn Trolley was ready for service!

The Popcorn Trolley is very unique and fits well into our old fashioned theme. You may see The Popcorn Trolley at events around the Wichita area. Pop in and say hi!
